President’s Corner
We , the members of the Charles County Retired School Personnel Association , welcome you to our website.
The purpose of the CCRSPA is to foster social opportunities for our members, to keep members informed about
legislative news from Annapolis that may impact us, to maintain a close relationship with the Charles County Board
of Education and to continue to be of service to our community – especially to those young people who enrolled in
our public school system. We engage in a variety of activities relative to all of these goals and we are proud of the
good that we are able to do for our members and for our community. We are hopeful that this newest method of
communication will keep all of us informed of the things that we do as an Association in a timely and efficient manner.
In recent years we have enjoyed luncheons, picnics, bus trips and will continue to do so in the future. We maintain the Port Tobacco One Room School for use by local children, offer Pre-Retirement seminars for prospective retirees and make generous donations to the Charles County Scholarship Fund, Relay for Life and to Project Graduation.
We gave generously of our time and talents while we were school system employees and we enjoy continuing that
tradition as retirees. Our website will allow us to keep members informed about all of the things we do.
We also hope to “virtually” share some of the good times we have had and hope you enjoy this look at CCRSPA.
